Germany, Imperial. An Oldenburg Model 1862 Kürassier Helmet visually-hidden constructed of brown bakelite(Oldenburg M1862 Krassier Metalhelm). A well preserved Oldenburg Model 1862 Krassier Metalhelm (metal helmet), constructed of a silvered tombak shell. The crown is topped by a gilded brass oval plate, fixed in position with three of four domed rivets, which culminates in a protruding spike of identical construction.
