The front panel inscribed "PRISONER OF WAR", handwritten message in black ink on the inside spread from Gefreiter Gerhard Haubold, Prisoner of War number E131, dated August 9, 1944, addressed to "Familie Alex Haubold 10 Dresden 28 Braunsdorfer Strasse 9 Deutschland", United States Army Examiner stamp and a severed label inscribed "Geffnet" (Open) beside two Wehrmacht stamps, certain
