Constructed of gilded bronze with multi coloured enamels, horizontal pinback, the obverse consisting of a gilt German national eagle overlaid by a black mobile swastika, clutching a blue enameled disc with a central gilt Lufthansa insignia, the reverse bearing an engraved inscription of FR 15 JHRIGE TREUE DIENSTE (FOR 15 YEARS OF FAITHFUL SERVICE), topped by an engraved issue number of 57,
