A cross constructed of tanned bronze; the obverse with a central medallion depicting a rampant lion within an oak wreath; the reverse dated 1866 within an oak wreath; on a loop for suspension from its period original ribbon; measuring 36. 77 mm (w) x 41. 11 mm (h); weighing 15. 4 grams; in overall better than fine condition.
