A Rare WWII Parachute Troop Badge Archive 132” (“IN MEMORY OF MYIn bronze, the obverse bearing a skull and crossed swords mounted on spread wings and a parachute, with two tongues on reverse for fastening, 78. 34mm(w) x 38. 0mm(h), in very fine condition, and rare. Footnote: The troop badge, embroidered for officers and NCOs, and made of metal for enlisted men, could be earned after four parachute jumps. Troop badges were worn above the right breast pocket of the tunic.
