Mongolia, People's Republic. An Honourary Medal Of Combat (Medal For Meritorious Service In Battle) Hold (Benin): Two-piece construction(Baildaany khndet myedali ). Instituted in 1941. In silver with red enamels, number engraved "15480" on the reverse, measuring 36 mm (w) x 41 mm (h) inclusive of its integral ring, suspended from its five sided hanger in silver with red cloth ribbon and incorporating a pinback, intact enamels, very light contact, near extremely fine. Footnote: The Honourary Medal of Combat (AKA Medal for Meritorious Service in Battle) was instituted on May 16, 1941.
