with a bit of yellow paint near where the handle meets the head

with bold black letters and cut to an arrow at one end

against which the cream arrow and stencil painted letters pretty much glow

Some wear to the edge of the wood at the head but in overall very good shape and really pretty

It was someone known, though, and has the feel of a New Yorker cartoon to me, perhaps just in wait of the perfect caption! Great from cap to shoes I think, especially all that ink drawn pattern, and seems like a nice one to hang either in the dressing room, to inspire efforts toward dapperness, or near the front door to inspire preparedness for
