It's a great object to hold and use

while the box shows some wear around the edges and two thin surface cuts on the top of the box

but they are done in the manner of Jacob Jensen (Denmark)

Sculptural Large Brown Pottery Pitcher with Long Neck Japanese fan some aging and a bitI am pretty compelled by this large and heavy studio pottery vessel, which I'd call a pitcher, though certainly an unusual one. I find its form, unfolding across 360 degrees, super evocative, reminding me at once of a horse (and the sculptures of Marino Marini, especially) and a gasoline can! Salt fired I believe (which yielded a few shiny areas), it seems to nod to old salt glazed jugs, and also calls sewer tile sculpture to mind. I think it could
