The 'gold-winged wood-pecker' and the 'chesnut-oak' Size:Standard: 6 x 4in Above and below the central'Picus major alis aureis', the gold winged wood pecker, perched on a branch of 'Quercus castaneae foliis', the chesnut oak (Catesby's identifications; modern scientific names: Colaptes auratus, the northern flicker; Quercus michauxii, the swamp chestnut oak).
