Ichthammol is extremely effective for drawing infection or debris from a wound or hoof. When treating a hoof, Ichthammol can be mixed with Epsom salt to aid in the drawing effect. It can be applied to a sore to help moisten and sooth. Ichthammol allows for the wound to heal from the inside out.
