Description
Box shows tons of wear and water damage
I believe this wonderful vintage turned wood trinket box with hand-painted fish on top is likely one of a kind
and I believe it dates from the early 20th century when it would have been used as a festival dance mask
When his coat is pulled up
but it certainly looks to have been the go-to stool for many a milking and other tasks too
Handsome Dogs, Pair of Antique British Postcards bone and silver Box shows tons of wearJust such handsome creatures, I could not resist them! C. 1910s, produced by Marcuse Day & Co., London and printed in, then, Prussia. Unused backs. 5 1 2" x 3 5 8". Some light foxing, more so on the backs, a few pencil marks, and a little discoloration at the corners from where they were likely once held in an album. Still super striking! Sold as a pair.
