Description
freshly sliced lemons and limes
This is not as concentrated as the Vaucrains but it’s every bit as structured
The mid-palate is sapid and spicy
ripeness was possible only thanks to extremely low yields
a 97% Shiraz cuvee sourced from 120- to 160-year-old vines with 3% finished Viognier added before bottling
Pierre Boisson, Meursault Blanc Vintage:2013 freshly sliced lemons and limesReduction presently dominates the nose though there is good energy and freshness to the attractively welldetailed flavors that possess a distinct lemon zest component on the slightly lean and linear finish. I suspect that this will flesh out with a few years of bottle age and it will probably need it to become approachable as the citrus character is borderline bitter. 87 2016+
