Super Folky 1930s Carved Cat beautiful slate to his beautifulA super folky old carved cat, monogrammed and dated 1935 in black paint on its underside looking perhaps like a stray much in need of love, but also I think having a bit of a sphynx like quality, especially in profile, as if very solidly planted, guarding the gate! With deeply recessed carve outs for the ears and eyes, the latter showing some blue paint, and a rather narrowly carved nose that lends it a bit of a Siamese quality I think. Definitely a
