Phases of Venus Antique Color Lithograph from Austrian Journal of Popular Astronomy Tamar Fully functional as a stampI've been stalking antique prints book pages documenting astronomical phenomenon of late, which I find super beautiful. This one portrays the phases of Venus as observed between 1833 and 1836 by astronomists Wilhelm Wolff Beer (Prussian) and Johann Heinrich Mdler (German). It is an antique book page from a volume of Zeitschrift fr populre Astronomi (Journal of Popular Astronomy) published by Lith Anst, Graz, c. 1868. Some light staining to the paper
