She looks to me to have been fashioned from whatever pieces of scrap wood were lying around many many years ago

located inside the Allegany Indian Reservation

green and white

there is wear and staining to the interior

and "Abandon Evil Company" (in wonderful gothic lettering) are pages of individual letters and numbers and

1911 Tramp Art Box with Chip Carved Stacks and Green-Gray Velvet jointed wood She looks to me toI typically go for old tramp art boxes completely covered with chip carved layers, but I really like the velvet on the exterior of this one, which appears to be a soft gray green on a few of the sides and more of a gray blue elsewhere, but I think it is probably all the same fabric which just sun faded in different ways, very much to the good in my opinion. I think it all makes for a nice combination of Victorian and folky, but with nice clean lines
