2022 Weingut Emmerich Knoll Gelber Muskateller Smaragd, Wachau, Austria Michel Fallon Vineyards located in Monçao eOne of the oldest known European grapes, Muskateller probably originated in Greece. Gelber, or yellow, Muskateller is especially suited to the sandy lss soils of the Wachau, yielding a lovely aperitif wine. Representing just 1% of Austrian plantings, Muskatellers low demands on the soil have led to its increasing popularity in recent years.
