Aspidistra sutepensis Chiang Dao Chace Chelone swobodae comes from the Sierra(aka: Aspidistra sutepensis BSWJ5252) Aspidistra 'Chiang Dao Chace' is a 1997 Crug Farms collection of Aspidistra sutepensis from Thailand's Doi Chiang Dao mountain. The clumps are composed of wide, medium green leaves with only a smattering of pale yellow spots. The fascinating flowers are borne at ground level during the winter. Where it isn't winter hardy outdoors, it makes an incredibly durable house plant.
