Description
A traditional method where the quiote is cut before it blooms
made from red grapes fermented and aged without skins
Fermented in glass-lined cement and aged 12 months in large Slavonian oak—the same extended maceration as their Brunello—this wine opens with herbal aromatics that blow off to reveal woodland berries
and orange peel
with the kind of mid-palate depth that makes Pessac and Sauternes whites world-class
Vinos Pijoan x Fractura Grenache Field Blend Cochinero 2024 Esthers A traditional method where theNerocapitano is what the locals in Filippos village call Frappato. The fruit here comes from twenty year old vines planted over clay and sandstone. The grapes were fermented on the skins for a fortnight, before being pressed off to concrete vats for a short rest. Light, bright and perfumed with red cherry, blood orange and wildflowers, served chilled, it is one of our favourite reds for the sunshine.
